Candidature

The aim of this stage is to discern the vocation of the young women to consecrated life, to grow in Christian faith, develop an intimate relationship with God and to acquire a preliminary knowledge of Franciscan Sisters of Dillingen.

Postulancy

TIn this stage the postulants understand community life more deeply and achieve the integration of prayer and work in their lives. It is a time for the postulant and the Congregation to become better acquainted with each other. They acquire the readiness to renounce everything to become a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Novitiate

The novitiate is a time of introduction into and practice of the spirit and life of our Congregation. They learn to integrate prayer and work in their lives. During this time the novice’s vocational aptitude and intention can be tested by the novice herself and the community.

Juniorate

The juniorate is the time between the profession of temporary vows and the profession of perpetual vows. Juniorate deepens and continues the formation begun in the Novitiate. They are in the communities and the communities provide opportunity to experience life in community and helps them to become disciples of Christ. It is the time to deepen the charism of our congregation. It includes preparing themselves, experiencing their deeper union with God and evaluating themselves.
